Experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed for a busy, fast growing private psychiatric practice in Montgomery Alabama. 

​

Job entails working very closely with a team of other mental health clinicians that include the psychiatrist and 4 licensed professional counselors.

​

The Nurse Practitioner will perform initial psychiatric evaluations and Medication Management duties for our patient population.

 

You will have the support of the psychiatrist and the clinic nurse right within the same office and the opportunity to refer patients for counseling services to at least one of 4 counselors within the same clinic. You will be part of the very light on call rotation of 1:4 amongst the clinicians. You will also be expected to manage your own caseload of patients in terms of responding to questions from your patients and liasing with the local pharmacies.

This is a contract position with an established load of patients that you will be building upon. The take home for the contractor annually currently is estimated in the $120,000 -140,000  range depending on billing & collections from insurance payers.

 

This job opportunity can also be considered for a salaried position.

​

At least one year of clinical experience on the job is preferred but willing to consider recent graduates.

​

This position is available for a start date of April 1, 2018 but can accommodate a later starting date.
